It is hard to imagine that a rural community who already have Blind Creek, 3+ wind farms, and 3 other solar farms proposed in the area + Woodlawn and all that the commercial waste centre entails, could possibly be asked to completely change its landscape so that the horizon is covered by solar panels and where it meets the existing wind farms. This is not a community opposed to renewable energy, this is not a NIMBY response this response is of a community saying our backyard is FULL, a community saying enough is enough! Why isn’t every government, supermarket, industrial building rooftop covered before agricultural land that is meant to feed Australia, not light it up for a few hours.
